Privacy Policy
Your data.
A defined purpose.
This policy describes information used to operate Calibration Peptides, verify research eligibility, and support orders.
Information we collect.
- Orders: buyer name, contact details, billing/shipping address, selected products, payment method and transaction references, and order/support history.
- Research eligibility: research organization or facility, researcher role, stated nonclinical purpose, age confirmation, research-use and terms acknowledgments, and the policy version/time associated with those confirmations. Do not submit patient information or confidential research details not needed for eligibility.
- Accounts: login identifiers and securely hashed account passwords, profile information, and account/order records. If a birth date is entered for the registration age check, it is used to check the age requirement; the current registration flow stores the age-confirmation flag rather than the birth date.
- Technical information: request/security logs, IP address and browser information received by the site or infrastructure providers, cart/session cookies, browser local storage, and voluntarily submitted correspondence.
Use, service providers, and retention.
We use information to process orders and refunds, evaluate research eligibility, communicate order status, answer support requests, maintain security, prevent fraud, and meet recordkeeping obligations. Relevant information may be provided to hosting/security services, carriers, payment services, and other processors required for those purposes. We do not sell or rent personal information for third-party marketing.
Payment credentials are handled according to the chosen payment provider and method; do not send full card, bank, or account credentials to support. We retain order, eligibility, consent, tax, and security records for the periods needed for their purposes and applicable obligations. A deletion request may be limited by required retention, fraud prevention, or an unresolved transaction.
Cookies and local storage.
WooCommerce uses cookies for cart, checkout, and account sessions. The site uses browser local storage to remember researcher/age-gate entry and saved-product preferences, and session storage for some cart acknowledgments. A saved shortlist is browser-local, not a reservation or an account-synced order. Blocking or clearing storage may reset these features; a remembered browser confirmation does not replace checkout eligibility validation.
Email and SMS choices.
Necessary order and service email is distinct from optional marketing. Where offered, marketing email or SMS requires the applicable affirmative opt-in. SMS consent is not a condition of purchase. Message frequency may vary; message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out of SMS or HELP for help, or contact support. Marketing preferences do not remove order records or legally required transactional notices.
We do not share SMS opt-in data or consent for third-party marketing. Records needed to honor an opt-out or demonstrate consent may be retained. No marketing program is represented as active merely because an opt-in field exists.
Requests and contact.
Request access, correction, deletion, or marketing opt-out at support@calibrationpeptides.com. We may ask for proportionate identity verification before disclosing records. If you are not eligible to purchase under the store’s age/research policy, do not submit an order. Business location: Kansas City, MO.

Optional Microsoft Clarity analytics
If you allow analytics, we use Microsoft Clarity for behavioral metrics, heatmaps and session replay on selected anonymous public pages. Visible page content is masked; public page titles and URLs, device/browser information, clicks and scrolling may still be processed. Pages with personal-data forms or private URLs are excluded. Clarity is not loaded on cart, checkout, account, contact, payment or private order pages, or during logged-in, staging or identified QA sessions. Query-bearing URLs and unreviewed referrers are excluded.
Microsoft collects or receives personal data in connection with this service and Microsoft Advertising, and acts as an independent data controller. Microsoft may use data for its own purposes under its privacy statement, including service improvement and advertising. Our integration denies advertising storage; that browser setting does not override Microsoft's contractual data uses. We do not connect advertising accounts or export WooCommerce orders/customer records through this integration.
Analytics is optional. Use Analytics privacy settings to decline or withdraw permission. Withdrawal stops further capture; it does not delete data already sent. A final payload of previously consented activity may be transmitted as the runtime stops. Your choice is stored only in this browser for up to 180 days. Essential store cookies and shopping functions are separate and are not changed.
Optional self-hosted Matomo analytics
With your opt-in, we use Matomo Community on our own infrastructure to measure page visits, public products, cart updates, checkout starts and confirmed paid orders. We do not record form entries, billing names, addresses, email addresses, phone numbers, account identities, card details, crypto wallets, transaction IDs or payment secrets. Admin/staff, identified QA, staging, private/password-protected content and payment/account/order URLs are excluded. Logged-in customers may opt in to public browsing and ordinary cart/checkout metrics; this is not session replay.
The analytics browser library is not downloaded until you opt in. A random browser visitor ID and signed consent preference are used for up to 180 days. Page/referrer URLs are minimized; visitor IP addresses are masked before storage and location processing, so location precision is limited. Raw visit data is retained for 180 days; aggregate reports are retained for business comparison. Analytics requests pass through Cloudflare, which also provides our secure public delivery infrastructure; Matomo is not a third-party hosted analytics account.
Confirmed revenue is recorded asynchronously only for consented eligible orders after WooCommerce records payment. Pending and on-hold orders are not paid sales; repeated callbacks use a stable opaque analytics order ID. WooCommerce remains the source of truth for accounting and refunds; Matomo paid revenue is gross paid sales, not net-after-refunds accounting, and excludes declined analytics sessions. No historic orders are backfilled.
Use Analytics privacy settings to decline or withdraw. This stops future analytics capture and cancels queued events associated with that consent; it cannot delete data already received, and an already in-flight request may finish. Essential shopping cookies/functions are not changed. Microsoft Clarity has a separate opt-in choice and disclosure above, with its stricter anonymous/public-page masking scope unchanged.
