Terms of Service

Terms Of Service

Research-use terms.
No ambiguity.

These terms apply to purchases from Calibration Peptides. Review them before ordering. Website wording does not replace applicable law.

1. Permitted use and purchaser eligibility.

Materials are offered exclusively for in vitro laboratory research and analytical testing by qualified researchers in a suitable controlled laboratory environment. In vitro means outside a living organism. You represent that you are lawfully engaged in that work, authorized to purchase for the identified organization or research facility, and capable of handling the material appropriately.

You must be 21 or older under our store policy. This is a store eligibility requirement, not a representation that turning 21 authorizes an otherwise prohibited use. We may request supporting information and refuse or cancel orders that do not meet these terms or applicable law. Do not provide fabricated research credentials or a false intended-use statement.

2. Research use only—prohibited uses.

Not for human or veterinary use. Do not use, administer, consume, inject, ingest, apply to a body, or otherwise expose any person or animal to the material.

  • No self-experimentation, patient treatment, clinical research, clinical diagnosis, or veterinary applications.
  • No use as a drug, compounded preparation, food, dietary supplement, medical device, cosmetic, or household product.
  • No manufacturing, processing, transfer, or resale for any prohibited use. Resale for legitimate research requires our prior written agreement and all applicable legal permissions.
  • A clinical trial, prescription, or label on a different finished drug does not authorize use of the research material sold here.

3. Regulatory status and no medical advice.

The research materials supplied by this store are not FDA-approved for human or veterinary use. They are not offered as approved medicines, compounded drugs, or alternatives to prescription treatment. We make no representation of clinical safety or efficacy and no claim to diagnose, cure, mitigate, treat, or prevent disease or affect the structure or function of a human or animal body.

We do not provide dosing, administration, personal-use protocols, or preparation guidance for human or animal use. Product names, vial amounts, research literature, and analytical reports are not instructions or permission for such use. Regulatory status depends on the actual product, claims, distribution, and intended use—not a disclaimer alone.

4. Analytical records, handling, and SDS.

Review the label and applicable lot documentation before handling. Reported purity, sample content, and vial amount are distinct. A COA covers only the sample and tests described; historical or other-source reports do not automatically establish the identity or quality of your lot. No sterility, endotoxin-free status, stability period, contaminant testing, or fitness for a particular experiment is represented unless supported by applicable documentation.

Request the applicable Safety Data Sheet (SDS) and other hazard information where available or required. Unknown hazards are not evidence of safety. Use appropriate training, protective equipment, storage, containment, waste disposal, and institutional procedures. Seek professional emergency assistance after an exposure; do not request medical advice from store support.

5. Intellectual-property and legal responsibilities.

Products or uses may be subject to third-party patent or other intellectual-property rights. A purchase grants no patent, clinical-use, resale, or other regulatory license. Both seller and purchaser remain responsible for their own legal obligations. A purchaser acknowledgment does not excuse unlawful sale or distribution by the seller.

6. Orders, payment, shipment, and refunds.

Review the product, selected format, price, address, payment method, and applicable policies before submitting an order. Availability and displayed prices are determined at checkout. Orders outside our research eligibility scope may be refused or canceled; amounts already paid for a canceled unshipped order will be refunded as applicable.

Our ordinary order-change window is 30 minutes after purchase and before fulfillment begins. This window does not limit required cancellation or refund rights, including rights related to shipment delay, non-delivery, incorrect or defective goods, or applicable law. See the Shipping & Returns and Refund Policy for details.

7. Non-waivable rights and liability.

Non-waivable rights remain in force. Nothing in these terms excludes rights, remedies, duties, or liabilities that applicable law does not permit us to exclude, including required refunds and rights relating to deceptive practices. We do not warrant clinical use, human or veterinary safety, or an unsupported research outcome. Any otherwise permissible limitation must be read subject to those non-waivable rights; misuse does not extinguish a seller obligation imposed by law.

8. Privacy, updates, and contact.

Eligibility information and consent records are handled under our Privacy Policy. The terms presented when an order is submitted govern that order to the extent permitted by law; later revisions do not retroactively remove rights.
